Land Rover Series III Steering Box and Relay rebuild

Testimonial - Restoration of a Series III Land Rover

"Having dealt with a large number of companies of late during the restoration of a Series III Land Rover - I felt I had to write in to tell you how happy I have been with the service you provided.
In rebuilding my Land Rover, I wanted to make sure that the steering, suspension and brakes were absolutely superb in operation - this is something that I feel is commonly overlooked in many restorations and it is all too common to hear the old adage "its a Land Rover, the steering is supposed to be like that".

I found an advert for your company by chance, but a quick look at your website (and finding a number of glowing reviews from other classic car owners) told me I was in the right place.

After my initial call - where we discussed my requirements, I sent my steering box, column and relay to ICS where your engineers stripped them down and gave their assessment - it was wonderfully honest, with your engineers examining each component and only replacing those parts necessary to let them rebuild to perfect working order. Similarly with the box/column, you were even able to manufacture replacement parts in-house using original tooling. Its very nice to work with a company which has retained these sort of skills.

Communication was superb - I was kept informed at every step of the way and my steering was returned promptly, wonderfully wrapped and looking fantastic.

I'm due to bolt it into my new chassis in the coming weeks and look forward to having a Land Rover which handles and steers like she would have when rolling out of the factory gates in 1972."
